Clarinettiste basse dans de petits ensembles, sa complicité de longue date avec le trompettiste Sébastien GUILLEMARD lui fait faire ses classes avec le "Dixie At School" dès 1992. Avec ce groupe, il pourra parfaire sa technique d'improvisation sur des airs de jazz à la clarinette Sib.
En 1996, il participe au "Jam Potatoes" de Luneray puis à diverses manifestations de jazz.
Une erreur de synthaxe lui fera rapidement tenir le washboard quand il ne souffle pas dans sa clarinette ou son saxophone soprano.
Il est desormais un des piliers du L.A.C.J.B. dont il compose les arrangements.
