Il fallait le voir le petit Thierry, à l'âge de 9 ans et en culottes courtes, souffler dans son clairon avec des joues dignes de celle de Dizzy Gillespie! Au sein de la batterie fanfare, il enchaîne sur la trompette de cavalerie De stage en stage et de concours en concours dans toute la France, il se perfectionne... De la batterie fanfare du Havre, il rejoint celle de Montivilliers puis...l'armée ou il jouera en tant que seconde trompette. De retour dans le civil, il s'essaie, d'abord seul, à l'étude du soubassophone, puis s'inscrit au conservatoire ou il étudie depuis 10 ans. Il rejoint l'orchestre d'harmonie du Havre puis le Louisiane And Caux Jazz Band pour le plus grand bonheur des musiciens de ce groupe.
